Pavlova

4 egg whites
250g sugar (1 cup)
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 Tblsp corn starch

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peak stage. Add
the sugar gradually and beat well. Add the remainder of ingredients
and mix well. Pour into a well greased round cake pan. Heat oven
to 180C (350F) and place pavlova in oven. Turn oven off immediatelly
and leave until cool. Remove pavlova from oven and turn upside down
on serving plate. When cool, top with whipped cream and garnish
with fresh sliced strawberries or any fruit you like.
