Peanut Butter Apple Crisp

1/4 c peanut butter
1/4 c butter
1/2 c flour
3/4 c sugar
4 apples
1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
2 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp water
Cut peanut butter and butter into flour and 1/2 cup of sugar until
crumbly. Peel and slice apples in a 1 1/2 quart shallow pan (6x9
1/2x2). Sprinkle lemon rind and 1/4 cup of sugar over apples; add
lemon juice and water. Cover apples with the crumb mixture. Bake
for 45 min. at 350 deg.
